Bingo Fundraiser

Doors open at 12:00 p.m.

Come out and support the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum on Saturday, October 21st,for our Bingo Fundraiser! Doors will open at 12p.m., and cash bingo games will start at 2 p.m.at the Bloomsburg Fire Hall. Come enjoy food, friends, and prizes while supporting the local children’s museum. Special prizes and an Auction will also be available along with rip-off ticket games!

Tickets are $20 a piece, and due to limited seating, we ask that every seat play Bingo.

International Sloth Day

Celebrate National Immigrants Day and the dedication of the Statue of Liberty by learning about the importance of the statue and the history of immigration to the United States and making a craft. Join Pennsylvania Dinosaurs and The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum for a Dino-Mite Halloween Costume Party. Step into a world where dinosaurs roam once again, and the spookiest season of the year has taken a prehistoric twist. Our Dinosaur Halloween Party promises a bone-rattling good time for all ages, filled with ferocious fun and monstrous memories. Our Museum will be transformed into a land lost in time with our friends from Pennsylvania Dinosaurs. We cannot wait to see all the dinosaurs and future paleontologists.

Infectious Intelligence

Middle and High School-aged students will design and build tethered robots using engineering design concepts. Robots will be created to compete in a competition. Sketchup, technical drawing, circuits, mechanical engineering, critical thinking, and mathematical skills will be taught.

The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum, in collaboration with the Animal Resource Center, presents Kitties with Kiddies. We are excited to host this special story time with kittens from the Animal Resource Center. A themed craft is included in the program. Proceeds benefit the Animal Resource Center.

After School Lego Engineering Camp

Join our STEM instructors to build your own Lego city! Students ages 6-12 will learn how to be architects and engineers as they build their town. Explore the challenges of the people in our communities, create solutions to these challenges, and finally share their ideas. Students will explore Lego We Do kits, and they will be able to program their own moving Lego pieces. They will work in teams to create a Legocity based around themes such as durability, accessibility, and being environmentally friendly.
