Bloomsburg Library has benefited greatly from community volunteers and still needs more if anyone wants to help check out books at the service desk, do some light cleaning and landscaping, or shelve books. I AM Safe
Every First and Third Tuesday of the month; 5:30 pm
I AM Safe! provides support and encouragement for individuals looking to live their best life, promoting self-advocacy and safety. Safety in the home and the community, digital citizenship, and safety within ourselves. Meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Trinity House in Bloomsburg. 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Come at 5:30 for refreshments. Contact Emily at [email protected] for more information. Community partners and professionals will join us to present up-to-date and accurate information. Local businesses will be invited to join us for refreshments so we can grow as a community thus providing a safer environment for all. Participants will be provided with tangible items to promote a constant reminder.

Welcome to our Preschool Cooking and Storytime Summer Camp—an enchanting adventure designed for young minds ages 2-5 to explore the magic of stories and the joy of cooking! Our camp combines the wonder of storytelling with hands-on cooking activities, fostering creativity, imagination, and a love for learning in your little ones.
Watch as your budding chefs roll up their sleeves and dive into the world of cooking! Our hands-on activities foster a love for food preparation. Children will measure, mix, and decorate their culinary creations, gaining valuable motor skills and boosting their confidence in the kitchen.
Our camp focuses on age-appropriate recipes that are not only delicious but also easy for little hands to create. From simple snacks to colorful treats, children will explore the magic of combining ingredients and following basic recipes.

Ready, set, RAWR for Dinosaurs! Campers will travel back in time and learn about the amazing giants that roamed the land. Kids will travel through time with their imaginations while learning science.

Our camp is a delicious blend of fun, creativity, and tasty exploration designed to ignite a passion for snacks and culinary delights. Dive into the world of cooking, baking, and, most importantly, eating! Campers will learn safety, measuring, the importance of trying new things, and learning to appreciate different types and styles of food while learning about the MyPlate food guide.

Welcome to our enchanting “Little Sprouts Enchanted: Fairy Garden Explorers” – a magical summer camp designed to spark the imagination and creativity of your little ones! This whimsical camp is crafted for preschoolers aged 2 to 5, inviting them to explore the wonders of fairy gardens in a fun and interactive way.
At Maker Camp, campers will dive into the fundamentals of manufacturing and engineering design processes, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. From 3D printing and laser cutters to plastic formers, soldering, woodworking, and other machinery, our campers will have the opportunity to unleash their imaginations and bring their ideas to life. Projects for all Maker Camp sessions are different!
Can you pull a tablecloth off a set table; without breaking anything? Does breakfast cereal have real iron in it? Can soda really rot your teeth? Is it true that no two fingerprints are alike? During this exciting camp, campers will investigate these questions and more by formulating and running experiments to try and disprove some of the most common myths.
At Maker Camp, campers will dive into the fundamentals of manufacturing and engineering design processes, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. Walk through the engineering design process to create your own toy. Students will brainstorm ideas for toys, create a 3D design of their project in a CAD program, learn how to troubleshoot their design for production and print out a final version of their creation to take home.

This session of Maker Camp is specially designed for teens! Projects in this session of Maker Camp are technically more challenging to spark the minds of teens. Campers will get hands-on experiences in woodworking, digital fabrication, electronics, mechatronics, and much more! These projects inspire creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills.

What’s it like to be an engineer? This awesome summer camp adventure combines hands-on STEM exploration with Lego® building to explore how things fly. Experiment with Bernoulli’s principle and how to achieve lift, levitate balloons and ping pong balls, explore radio communication, make and fly loopy flyers, use Legos® to make airships, and much more!

In this exciting art camp, campers will have the opportunity to develop their creativity and artistic skills by working with a variety of media and approaches, sometimes way outside of the box! This creative camp will unleash your child’s imagination and give them the freedom to express themselves both independently and collaboratively all while fostering new friendships. Presented by Mock Pie Studio artist and Artspace member Sara Mika. *Art projects are the same for sessions I and II

This camp is for students aged 11-17. Build your own retro bar-top arcade cabinet! The game is powered by a Raspberry-Pi micro-computer and will play multiple types of retro games. During the camp, students will construct consoles, wire, and program. The game is yours to keep after the camp!
Join Anne Cosper, Bloomsburg resident, Art Cart Facilitator, life-long artist who really likes the creative process for this week-long summer camp! The only thing better than making things? Making things with other people! Make sure you put your creative caps on! Anne will be teaching two sessions of Art with Anne; each will be a little bit different.

Campers will take apart a nerf mega Kronos blaster, learn how it works, and modify the blaster to increase its performance. Campers will then have the opportunity to fabricate custom parts for their own blasters and darts. Kronos blaster supplied for camp.
We are partnering with the US Department of Defense STEM Education Consortium and TIES to offer the STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van to our area! Students will be engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital fabrication and machining equipment in the van. 3D printing CAD design, electronics, CNC, and much more! Projects for all Maker Camp sessions are different!

This camp is not about “playing with dolls” , it is more about a shared passion and enthusiasm for creative and artistic expression that is so dynamic in all of our girls. This camp builds friendships, memories, and teamwork. Our American Girls have a lot of pizzazz and we encourage their unique gifts and talents during this very special week. We know every young girl is a creative artist, engineer, architect, and visionary at heart! Above all, all our girls are STARS!
