The Friends of the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum cordially invite you to our 3rd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Sunday, July 28th.

Let us give you a magical evening with your daughter! The Museum will be transformed into every little girl’s dream with appearances from beloved princesses, a red carpet photo shoot, fun crafts and activities, unicorn meet & greets, and dancing! Daughters may be escorted by Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, or any other special person who fits this role.

Tickets include appetizers and desserts, unicorn meet and greets, photo opportunities, a limousine ride provided by Susquehanna Valley Limousine, and an afternoon under the tent dancing to live music!

All guests must purchase a ticket to enter.

Limited VIP tickets include all of the above plus corsage and boutonniere, a private unicorns meet and greet, and a VIP time slot (between 2-4:00 p.m.) for hair and makeup.

I AM Safe

Every First and Third Tuesday of the month; 5:30 pm
I AM Safe! provides support and encouragement for individuals looking to live their best life, promoting self-advocacy and safety. Safety in the home and the community, digital citizenship, and safety within ourselves. Meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Trinity House in Bloomsburg. 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Come at 5:30 for refreshments. Contact Emily at [email protected] for more information. Community partners and professionals will join us to present up-to-date and accurate information. Local businesses will be invited to join us for refreshments so we can grow as a community thus providing a safer environment for all. Participants will be provided with tangible items to promote a constant reminder.

Learn techniques to successfully pull off some of the grossest special effects in the theatre business.

No Camp July 1st-5th

Lights, Camera, Action! Welcome to the ‘Young Filmmakers’ Summer Camp, where creativity takes center stage and imaginations come to life. Our film-making camp for kids is an exciting journey into the world of cinema, providing a hands-on experience that will unleash the budding filmmaker in your child.

This camp is a crash course in the art of filmmaking for kids. From understanding the basics of storytelling to mastering the technical aspects of shooting and editing, our young filmmakers will be guided through the entire process by experienced instructors passionate about nurturing their cinematic talents.

AgriExplorers Summer Camp

Join us August 5 through 9 at the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum to learn about agriculture, forestry, fishing, and hunting in Pennsylvania. Campers ages 6+ will learn about livestock, crop production, machinery, working animals, and more through hands-on demonstrations and activities with special guests who work in their respective fields. Our camp is designed to provide a unique blend of education, exploration, and fun, allowing young minds to connect with the earth and learn about the fascinating world of agriculture.

August 12-15 – Art Camp at Creative Canvas

Creative Canvas Studio Summer Art Camp takes place Monday, August 12 – Thursday, August 15!

If your child loves art, sign them up for our exciting summer art camp at Creative Canvas Studio! The camp runs for four days, from 10:00am to 1:00pm each day, and is perfect for kids aged 7-12. Details & Registration →

Teen Camp- Build a Bar-Top Arcade Game
Ages 13+
July 22 – 26th; 10-1:00 p.m.

This camp is for teens 13-17. Build your own retro bar-top arcade cabinet! The game is powered by a Raspberry-Pi micro-computer and will play multiple types of retro games. During the camp, students will construct consoles, wire, and program. The game is yours to keep after the camp!

Preschool Dinosaur Discoveries!
Ages 2-5

Ready, set, RAWR for Dinosaurs! Campers ages 2-5 will travel back in time and learn about the amazing giants that roamed the land. Kids will travel through time with their imaginations while learning science.

Teen Camp: Build an Electric Skateboard
Ages 12-17

This camp is for students aged 12-17. During this week-long camp, students will build their own electric skateboard, test it out, and learn about the electronics and mechanics that go into their new mode of transportation.

American Girl Summer Camp

This is a fun-filled, one-of-a-kind camp that encourages creativity and is packed with a variety of dynamic memory-making activities for students aged 6-12! This camp is not about “playing with dolls” , it is more about a shared passion and enthusiasm for creative and artistic expression that is so dynamic in all of our girls. This camp builds friendships, memories, and teamwork. Our American Girls have a lot of pizzazz and we encourage their unique gifts and talents during this very special week. We know every young girl is a creative artist, engineer, architect, and visionary at heart! Above all, all our girls are STARS!

Stop Motion Animation Camp

Learn the art of stop-motion animation with the materials of your choice. Choose Legos, clay, or anything else you can put your hands on. You’ll have the chance to make more than one film so you can try them all. As you build with Legos and sculpt with clay, you’ll be learning the basics of stop-motion animation, fluid movement, dramatic structure, and how to score your film and share it with the world. Future animators, your career starts here.

Art with Anne II

Join Anne Cosper, Bloomsburg resident, Art Cart Facilitator, life-long artist who really likes the creative process for this week-long summer camp! The only thing better than making things? Making things with other people! Make sure you put your creative caps on! Ages 6-12

Anne will be teaching two sessions of Art with Anne; each will be a little bit different.

Young Writers Camp
