Every First and Third Tuesday of the month; 5:30 pm
I AM Safe! provides support and encouragement for individuals looking to live their best life, promoting self-advocacy and safety. Safety in the home and the community, digital citizenship, and safety within ourselves. Meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Trinity House in Bloomsburg. 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Come at 5:30 for refreshments. Contact Emily at [email protected] for more information. Community partners and professionals will join us to present up-to-date and accurate information. Local businesses will be invited to join us for refreshments so we can grow as a community thus providing a safer environment for all. Participants will be provided with tangible items to promote a constant reminder.

Summer Camp
Maker Camp, where young minds embark on an exciting journey of creativity and innovation! This summer camp is specially designed for 6-14-year-olds who are eager to explore the fascinating world of making.
At Maker Camp, campers will dive into the fundamentals of manufacturing and engineering design processes, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. From 3D printing and laser cutters to plastic formers, soldering, woodworking, hand tools, and other machinery, our campers will have the opportunity to unleash their imaginations and bring their ideas to life.
Throughout the camp, our skilled instructors will guide participants through engaging and age-appropriate projects, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving. Campers will not only develop technical skills but also foster a love for innovation and the joy of creating something with their own hands.
Whether it’s crafting personalized 3D-printed creations, building intricate woodworking projects, or mastering the art of soldering, Maker Camp is the perfect environment for young makers to flex their imagination!

Welcome to the ultimate LEGO Machines Camp—a world where creativity meets engineering in a hands-on, brick-building extravaganza! Our camp is designed to ignite the imaginations of young builders as they explore the exciting realm of constructing dynamic machines using the iconic LEGO bricks.
Explore the principles of simple machines and engineering as campers build their own mechanical marvels. From pulleys and gears to levers and wheels, the LEGO Machines Camp is a playground for budding engineers to understand and apply basic engineering concepts.

In this exciting art camp, 6-12 year olds will have the opportunity to develop their creativity and artistic skills by working with a variety of media and approaches, sometimes way outside of the box! This creative camp will unleash your child’s imagination and give them the freedom to express themselves both independently and collaboratively, all while fostering new friendships. Projects change every summer, allowing kids to return each year and try something new! Presented by Mock Pie Studio artist and Artspace member Sara Mika.

Join a real-life barista to learn how to make delicious, fun drinks you’d find at a coffeeshop (coffee and non-coffee based alike)! There’ll be something for everyone, whether we’re crafting coffee, tea, smoothies, refreshers or frappuccinos.
This unique camp is specially crafted for budding baristas, ages 11+, who are eager to explore the magic behind every cup. Combine the joy of baking with the love of coffee. Campers participate in baking sessions where they create delicious treats that pair perfectly with their favorite drinks.

Join us August 5 through 9 at the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum to learn about agriculture, forestry, fishing, and hunting in Pennsylvania. Campers ages 6+ will learn about livestock, crop production, machinery, working animals, and more through hands-on demonstrations and activities with special guests who work in their respective fields. Our camp is designed to provide a unique blend of education, exploration, and fun, allowing young minds to connect with the earth and learn about the fascinating world of agriculture.
Join Anne Cosper, Bloomsburg resident, Art Cart Facilitator, and life-long artist who really likes the creative process for this week-long summer camp! The only thing better than making things? Making things with other people! Make sure you put your creative caps on!

Walk through the engineering design process to create your own toy. Students will brainstorm ideas for toys, create a 3D design of their project in a CAD program, learn how to troubleshoot their design for production and print out a final version of their creation to take home.

This camp is for teens 13-17. Build your own retro bar-top arcade cabinet! The game is powered by a Raspberry-Pi micro-computer and will play multiple types of retro games. During the camp, students will construct consoles, wire, and program. The game is yours to keep after the camp!

Our camp focuses on age-appropriate recipes that are not only delicious but also easy for little hands to create. From simple snacks to colorful treats, children will explore the magic of combining ingredients and following basic recipes.
Welcome to our Snack Attack Summer Camp – the ultimate adventure for young food enthusiasts! Our camp is a delicious blend of fun, creativity, and tasty exploration designed to ignite a passion for snacks and culinary delights.
Dive into the world of cooking, baking, and, most importantly, eating! Campers will learn safety, measuring, the importance of trying new things, and learning to appreciate different types and styles of food while learning about the MyPlate good guide. Children will explore farm-to-table foods. This isn’t your typical cooking class; creativity is a must, as well as a strong desire to learn about the world beyond! Ages 6+

STEM on the GO at the Museum! We are partnering with the US Department of Defense STEM Education Consortium and TIES to offer the STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van to our area! During the van’s visit to the Museum, the students will be engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital fabrication and machining equipment in the van. During this camp, students complete will create their own Alebrijes, robot key chains, Mars structures and catapults.

Learn the art of stop-motion animation with the materials of your choice. Choose Legos, clay, or anything else you can put your hands on. You’ll have the chance to make more than one film so you can try them all. As you build with Legos and sculpt with clay, you’ll be learning the basics of stop-motion animation, fluid movement, dramatic structure, and how to score your film and share it with the world. Future animators, your career starts here.
