Artists from within 150 miles of the Gmeiner were invited to submit up to three pieces for consideration in the 2024 Regional Juried Exhibit. Forty-seven hopeful artists submitted 105 pieces to be judged, which was narrowed down to 50 art works that will be displayed. Local artists from Wellsboro, Mansfield, Blossburg, Liberty, Mainesburg, Tioga, and Lawrenceville made the cut, as did artists from Coudersport, Williamsport, Lock Haven, and Montoursville. New York is represented by artists from Elmira, Corning, Horseheads and Pine City. There are several artists from the Montrose area, and our furthest participant at 148 miles is from Kutztown. The artwork submitted represents a great variety of media, including oil and acrylic paintings, pastels and drawings, photography, fiber art, printing, mixed media and digital art.
