Join Josh, from Flint Comics, for an introduction to comic art with this Saturday’s art class! Choose just one class or sign up for all 3 and build upon your skills. Students will learn the basic concepts of comic-style drawing, such as forming an idea into a page, rough sketching, dynamic poses, shading, and more! Students will go over ways to practice sketching effectively. Each student can choose an art print by Flint Graphis to take home. This class is recommended for children ages 8+

Maple Syrup Day

5th Annual Countdown to Noon: A Family Celebration of New Year’s

Join the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum family for the 5th Annual Countdown to Noon! This is a family celebration of New Year’s at the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum. There will be New Year-themed crafts and games, and a “Countdown to Noon” with special musical guest Kerry Kenny. This event is included with Museum admission.

8th Annual Science Fair

Students in grades 7-12 are invited to enter a project in our science fair, which will take place on January 19th, 2023. Registration forms are due no later than January 6th, 2023. CASH PRIZES are awarded to top projects. NASCO gift cards are awarded to top 3 teachers or homeschooling groups with the most students participating. All students receiving first awards will move on to the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Regional Science Fair which takes place in March.

Homeschool Hangouts
Every Other Wednesday

Parent/child activities are designed to complement concepts taught in the homeschool curriculum, grades K-12. Discounted admission for homeschool families ($5/person).
December 14th: DIY Holiday Gifts
We will have a variety of crafts available for all ages for students to create their own holiday gifts. 3D printed, laser cut, leather tooling, papercraft, and many more!
December 28th: Financial Fitness
This program teaches young students about money recognition, financial choices, cost‐benefit analysis for purchases, the benefits of budgeting, and the role of an entrepreneur.
