As COVID has waxed and waned over the past two years, our music programming has too: We closed entirely in early 2020, and our Listening Room missed its first months since we began the concerts in the Gallery in the summer of 2017. Opportunities for “Backstage Pass to the Blues” presentations in schools likewise evaporated. We had to cancel concerts planned for large venues in Bloomsburg and Berwick (including the one promoted in the last issue of this newsletter). But we have persevered, and when we safely could we have hosted music in the Gallery in addition to bringing one of our favorite people back to Bloomsburg to perform in Town Park. We produced fourteen concerts in 2020 and ten in 2021, and we look forward to many more in 2022, which got off to a great start with the Bobby Gentilo Trio in the Listening Room in January. “Play it, Sam!”
