The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum, 2 W. 7th Street, Bloomsburg, is pleased to announce its August programs.

GENERAL PROGRAMMING
S.W.O.R.D. at the Museum: Presented by T-Mobile
Sunday, August 1, 9:00 am-7:00 pm
1 pound and 3 pound combat robots battle it out in intense one-on-one mechanical matchups! Enjoy the Museum’s exhibits and watch these combat machines try to win a match by incapacitating the opponent or pushing it off the combat stage. Kids will have a chance to “battle” with the Museum’s “playable” battlebots. Register to compete a bot for $20. This event is free for spectators and open to the public.

Dog Days of Summer
August 4: Under the Sea, 11:00 am-1:00 pm
Beat the heat and come to the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum! Enjoy a special summer-themed craft every other Wednesday with free adult admission!

Saturday Sing-along with Miss Kerry
Saturday, August 7, 11:30 am-12:00 pm
Join Miss Kerry for this sing-along Saturday! Wiggling, singing and laughing with your child is so much fun—it’s easy to forget how much learning is taking place. This event is included in Museum admission.

Touch-A-Truck
Saturday, August 14 @ Rohrbach’s Farm, 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Join us at Rohrbach’s Farm Market for a fun-filled day with trucks of all kinds. Get an up-close, hands-on look at loaders, campers, tractors, fire engines, and more! Free admission.

Two Dollar Tuesday
Tuesday, August 17, 10:00 am-4:00 pm
Third Tuesday of the month, $2 admission all day. The Exchange will host hands-on Art Cart projects 10 am-2 pm.

Honey Bee Awareness Day
Saturday, August 21, 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Did you know the honey bee is the only insect that produces food eaten by humans? Learn more about these insects and why they are important to our ecosystem. Included with regular admission.

Celebrate Peach Month
