In response to Governor Wolf’s December 10th mandate, and out of concern for the health and wellbeing of our community, the Museum will be closed to the general public starting Saturday, December 12th, 2020 and re-opening Monday January 4th, 2021.
The Museum will still be holding in person classes but spots are very limited! Check out all of our art, science, engineering, and DIY gift classes at the Museum’s website www.The-Childrens-Museum.org.
We are also taking reservations for private indoor gatherings of less than 10 people. Guests will have full use of the Museum’s spacious classroom and exhibit halls. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/bcm-indoor.
Our 5th annual Gingerbread Competition and Display is going virtual! On December 19th we will post a gallery of all the entered gingerbread houses on our website and Facebook page. Winners will also be announced on the 19th. There is still time to register – cash and gift card prizes will be awarded! Find rules, entry requirements, and register at our website www.The-Childrens-Museum.org.
Book a virtual field trip with the Museum! We provide an expert exhibit presenter for an one-on-one virtual meeting for just $25. Groups will receive printable enrichment materials and activities prior to the field trip.
Our Count Down to Noon New Year’s Eve celebration will be the virtual party to be at! Mark your calendar and join us on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/ChildrensMuseumBloomsburg at 11 am on December 31st as we welcome Bloomsburg Music Together’s Kerry Kenny as we ring in the New year.
Any guests for classes and private gatherings over 2 years old entering the Children’s Museum are required to wear masks. Temperature checks are also required.
Keep watching our Facebook page for free take-away STEAM kit distributions and other no-cost offerings!
Thank you for your continued support during this challenging time.
