Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, the original masters of Fairy Tales, take you on a journey to the Land of Old Stories, where magic is real and danger lurks around every corner. Join our cast of local kids alongside professional and community adults for this fast-paced re-imagining of some of the Grimm Brothers’ most famous tales (and a few you may have never heard)! Something Grimm is something for the whole family!

Stories to be included in the performance include The Nanny Goat and Her Seven Kids, The Grandfather and His Grandchild, The Robber Bridegroom, Hans and Greta, The Bearskin Soldier, and The Bremen Town Musicians

The Bremen Town Musicians was scripted from workshop sessions with the community cast of kids, led by James Goode and Rhys Kauffman. Kauffman also composed the music for the scene.

Written and Directed by Andrew Hubatsek, James Goode, and Daniel Roth, Something Grimm features fourteen local kids with scenery design by Lynne Porter, costumes by Thom Sirkott, lights by Ethan Krupp, sound by Lyell Hintz, and props by A’nie Kirchner.

Something Grimm is rated GA for kid-friendly spookiness. For tickets, call 570-784-8181 or log on to www.bte.org.
