Factory Works Gallery at the Pajama Factory in Williamsport invites you to apply to The Winter Space Program (WSP). An Artist In Residence Program open to artists over the age of 21 living within a 50 mile radius of Williamsport. As part of this program the gallery will be open to, at most, six artists who are working on a scale that may not fit their current space. The idea is to provide artists with a large open space for them to work and be a part of the Pajama Factory artist community for 5 weeks. Selected artists will have 24/7 key access to the gallery space.
Interested applicants should email a one-page proposal and 3 to 5 jpegs to: [email protected] The one-page (double spaced) proposal should discuss your process and how the additional space would allow you to expand upon it. Please also include 3 to 5 jpegs (no more than two details) of your work sized at no more than 1000 dpi on the largest side. Upon receipt of the proposal and supporting jpeg materials, instructions will be emailed to you on how to submit the $35 application fee. Application is not considered complete until all materials including the fee have been received.
Important Dates:
• November 16, 2018 – Application deadline.
• December 1, 2018 – Selected artists notified.
• December 28, 2018 – Pick spaces and move in.
• January 25, 2019 – Clean up and move out.
